Building Client Trust: Security features that can be integrated into your clients interior design projects.

As an Interior designer, you’ll have plenty of considerations to make including layout and design, colour schemes, health, safety and property security features. This goes for both commercial and domestic interior design.

For high-end resdiential properties and business premises, it’s worth giving attention to access control systems. These systems provide excellent security by ensuring only authorised personnel are able to access a building.

For commercial properties, employees can be provided with dedicated key cards or pin numbers.

For home security purposes, homeowners will have the extra security ensuring their property isn’t easily accessed.

With access control it’s also possible to integrate a monitoring screen. Therefore, any visitors will be shown on the monitor and you’ll able to allow them entry or turn them away as appropriate.

CCTV Cameras

CCTV systems have been used for years and is a very effective to not only deter criminals but also ensure there is sufficient evidence for a later prosecution.

With CCTV camera systems, criminals have fewer places to hide and by recording their actions the footage can be used in court.

CCTV doesn’t have to be overly visible and certainly doesn’t have to ruin the design. In fact, it’s very easy to complement the interior design with pinhole cameras keeping them discreet.

Security cameras can also be integrated with other forms of security, such as monitored alarms. For high-end domestic properties and commercial buildings, if an alarm is triggered the CCTV will automatically activate.
