Burglar Alarm Maintenance Definition

A.  24 HOUR EMERGENCY COVER

i) An engineer will be available for telephone support and emergency call-out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

ii)  Random coded remote resets may be given over the telephone for Remote Signalling Systems (Police Calling) where the cause of the Alarm activation is known i.e. Customer mis-operation. 

iii) Alterations to the Alarm System, damage caused by the customer,
a third party or some other means and misoperation of the alarm requiring an engineer visit will be chargeable.

Note:
Ai) Includes emergency call-outs following equipment failure (excludes parts see Guarantee).
Aii & Aiii)   Are outside the control of Brook Security and are chargeable events.

B. ROUTINE SERVICE INSPECTION/S

1 Service visit per year if Audible Only System
2 Service visits per year if Remote Signalling System (Monitored Alarm for Police Response).

Comprising of:-

i) Installation location and siting of all equipment against the specification.
ii) Operation of all detection devices.
iii) All flexible connections.
iv) All mains and standby power supplies (including power packs).
v) All charging rates (including power packs).
vi) Control units and extension circuits.
vii) All remote signalling equipment (intelligibility to be ascertained).
viii) Digital communicator to control station.
ix) Testing of all batteries.
x) Alarm system if fully operational.

NOTE: Replacement of lamps that have expired are not covered under this contract.
